Out of the fog

The cathedral loomed out of the fog on Saturday night as we prepared for the next rehearsal of Gemma’s World Heritage Day music. But we had a great turnout – and thanks especially to Lucy and Matilda who both battled through the fog all the way from Stromness. Thanks also to Owen Tierney who made another great recording to add to the one in Maeshowe the previous night.

The singing was very striking and powerful and we all sensed that everything really came together in the Cathedral. Denise kept everyone on their toes and made sure we were all done and dusted in the allotted time. Lastly, thanks again to Leslie Burgher for another fantastic bunch of pictures.
