Olwen Shone, photographer and Andy MacKinnon, film-maker (St Kilda)

Olwen Shone graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1998 and since then has lived on the island of North Uist. The island provides a unique setting for her art practise.

A residency in Sweden in 2002 was a significant step in developing ideas and future projects.

More recently Olwen has spent time in Perthshire making new video works for the Stobhill Hospital project as well as continuing making work on the island.

She also teaches photography on the Fine Art BA hons course run by Lews Castle College based at Taigh Chearsbhagh Arts Centre on North Uist.
